Saiful Muluk Lake - Kaghan Naran Valley
Saiful Mulukmar - Kaghan Naran Diel
Saiful Muluk is a notorious lake located at the northern end of the Kaghan Valley, near the town of Naran. It lies in the north east of Manshra District in the province of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan
Saiful Muluk was formed by glass moraines that blocked the water from the stream by the valley. The Kaghan Diel was formed in the larger Pleistose season, which was about 300,000 years old when the area became ice-covered. Rising temperatures and returning glaciers leave a great depression where glaciers once stood. Milk washer collects in the lake.
A fairytale called Saiful Muluk, written by Sufi poet Mian Muhammad Bakhsh, talk about the lake. It tells the story of the prince of Persia who was in love with a fairy princess at the lake. A poet and writer from Balakot], Ahmed Hussain Mujahid, wrote the story of Saiful Muluk in prose for the local version. There is also a cave (based on the name of the prince who followed) on the lake, with shining stones and flowing water. The cave was the hidden place of Prins-Saif and the fig Badr when the empire tried to find. Locations say by a miracle the kingdom in a statue while they seek. The cause of some invoices and mobile phones that do not work in the cave is still a mystery.
